Costumes

Hello

Today I would like to show you my costumes which I used to my film and my expectation.

I wanted to every costumes expressed the right feeling.

First scene :

EXPECTATION:

                       Yellow Dress

I wanted to Alex wore a yellow dress because yellow colour means optimism, relaxation, joy, and hope so perfectly matches the first scene. Unfortunately, because of the lack of such a dress, I decided to black to show femininity and interest of the woman.

REALISM:

In the same scene I chose light blue shirts for Jack and orange hoodie for Patricia.
In this situation I found exactly the colours I wanted.

Second scene:

I chose grey and red tracksuit. Why grey ? I wanted show you boredom Alex and colour red was also to relate to the third scene in the park to show jealousy, anger.
Unfortunately I can't show you this costumes, because of I don't have any pictures.

Third scene:

I was thinking about a purple dress for Patricia.

EXPECTATION:

                 Purple Dress

REALISM:

The colour is fine and I liked the final effect but it isn't my expectation.

In the end all the costumes matched the scenes.

See ya!

Hello

Recently during the Specialist Session from Media Project I we created our shot list.

So shot list it's film frame list.

This is the example which I used:

It was very useful to made my shot list, the example is transparent and exactly what and  how is shown.

This is my shot list on the script:

This is a normal Shot list:

Here I had to wrote:
*Scene
* Shot
* Location
* Shot description
* Framing
*Sound
* Props

I won't describe everything, because is too much but I show you how frame I chose to every scene.

Scene I :
I chose Mind shot, Extreme close- up,  Close-up, Over The Shoulder, because I would like to the viewer focused on particular people and what I want to convey with this frame.

Scene II:
In this scene I chose Long Shot, Extreme Close-up,Close-up, Wide Shot, because I want every situation was clarity for everyone.

Scene III:
I chose Wide shot, Close-up, Extreme Close-up, High Angel, this scene is the most important so viewer have to especially focus on this scene.

This is my detailed plan : Title, time ,crew and location.

My trial video

Hello

Today's post will be about my adventure with the first movie recordings.

A week ago I tried to record  my second scene to film, why second? because it was easier because of location- (kitchen) and weather-( outside it has been blowing and raining lately).

I will show you one fragment but it's not important because I had to change my actors so that they haven't time for me. But now I have new actors and the next post I will show you some things  form today's recordings.

This is my older video and I'm not happy with it, because the zoom isn't lapped dissolve and this video isn't stable.  I used to it two devices:

This is my equioment: the camera - canon 600D, Tripod, and camera - panasonic V750.

                                                                         Tripod

canon 600D
panasonic 750

I'm not happy with camera panasonic because the picture quality is ugly and I change tripod because this one was not stable enough. But the camra canon 600D was  great because of the quality and the simple operation.

Unfortunately, I can't show you a new video from the same scene because firstly I have to cut out the end. After all, it isn't for the film.

But Ican show you my preparation to film from today and yesterday.

I had to check every tolls wich the camera command.

This photo is from yesterday.

I have here camera-canon XF100.

And this is form today.

It was fun and learning at the same time. But we also practised our patience and persistence because of the weather was ugly , it was stillwindy and raining  amd it was extremely cold.

See ya in the nex post!

Have a good day.

Cameron Covell- Film Producer

Hello

Today I will show you a new Film Producer- Cameron Covell.

He is a Director, Writer, and Editor.  Not much information about him, he started his acting career in childhood. Cameron loves to make films and he has written and directed 5 of his own 30 minute short films.

                          Cameron Covell

The movie that captivated me is "The Most Beutiful Thing". This is a short film and is about young couple, the girl is deaf and the boy who he tried to get the girl's attention without realizing she was deaf. The movie is about beautiful, true friendship and love. It's also show school reality.

                   The Most Beautiful Thing

Kind of like my movie that I want to do because it talks about teenagers' problems, love, jealous. I can draw attention to which frames, lights or sound effects the director used.

Howeover, his films look like he always used the same things, the sharpness and color of the film will not appeal to me.

Despite this, I encourage you to see this film, it is very emotional and worthy.

See you soon in the next post!

Storyboard

Hi

I would like to show you my storyboard to film.

First of all I will show you how I started to prepare storyboard.

I started by preparing a blank sheet of paper and a pen.

Then I started drawing frames:

First frame from the first scene.

This is first scene.

Here I have first and second scene.

This is the end result.

It consumes a lot of time, especially when you can't draw but when you finish you feel pride.
It's very useful when you make a film, because we already know vividly how our scenes will look like.

So see ya in the next post!

Location

Hello

I think that it is a good time to show you my localisations to film.

These are my photo from Fosse Park.

This park is located in Leicester.

Localisation from scene I and III.

This is localisation from scene II.

The kitchen isn't perfect but it isn't bad either. Unfortunately in this kitchen the light is very dark so I will have to do something to help the light.

The park is very nice and I am happy with the pictures I took but I have a little hunger because it all depends on the weather and the specific place because not part of the park is nice and ideal for filming but the effect will be seen in the movie.

See you soon!

Characterysation

Hi

Today I would like to show you charakterysation to my film.

For the needs of my film I was looking for a lot of videos on how to paint real bruises.

This is my first video which I saw :

It was okay, the bruise came out real but it wasn't what I expected. She used everythink what we have at home so the execution would not be difficult

I thinking about something like this:

Bruised Eye                                                         Easy Bruised Eye

This is my equipment which I use to characterisatIon.

I use four shadow palettes. This is one of them: FEDERICO MAHORA MAKEUP.
There are cool colours. From this palett I used only blue and green, because other colours are not suitable for such characterization. Although, many choices I was very limited with colours.

This is also:  FEDERICO MAHORA MAKEUP but there are warm colours. From this pallet I used more colours, because I used burgundy, red, brown, and finally golden. This colurs was better but I think that in future I will use differnt colours because every colours are brocade. So the face glows instead of being dull.

Here is palett from: Revolution- Nudes.I used the colours such as, red, pink, and brown. This palette also was very useful but of course, more colours are glow.

I used also two brushes:

This is Olivia Hale. It's a small brushes, but it's great for blending shadows.

This is Artiste DO1.
This is A large powder brush, but it can be used to remove unnecessary eye shadows.

 The second video:

Charakteryzacja w domu - PODBITE OKO

I used this video and tried to do something similar, but of course it can never be reproduced perfectly and I did not have a few shades that the girl from the movie used.

I show you my characterysation, as a model my friend served me.

I invite you to her blog, it's great, for example, you can find her first photo session there. - LONGAWA PRODUCTION

I am happy with the result, but I do not like that all the shadows that I used were brocade and it hindered my work.

See ya!!
