Characterysation

Hi 

Today I would like to show you charakterysation to my film.

For the needs of my film I was looking for a lot of videos on how to paint real bruises.

This is my first video which I saw :

It was okay, the bruise came out real but it wasn't what I expected. She used everythink what we have at home so the execution would not be difficult. 

I thinking about something like this:

This is my equipment which I use to characterisatIon.

I use four shadow palettes. This is one of them: FEDERICO MAHORA MAKEUP.

There are cool colours. From this palett I used only blue and green, because other colours are not suitable for such characterization. Although, many choices I was very limited with colours.

This is also:  FEDERICO MAHORA MAKEUP but there are warm colours. From this pallet I used more colours, because I used burgundy, red, brown, and finally golden. This colurs was better but I think that in future I will use differnt colours because every colours are brocade. So the face glows instead of being dull. 

Here is palett from: Revolution- Nudes.I used the colours such as, red, pink, and brown. This palette also was very useful but of course, more colours are glow.

I used also two brushes: 


















This is Olivia Hale. It's a small brushes, but it's great for blending shadows.

                 

This is Artiste DO1.

This is A large powder brush, but it can be used to remove unnecessary eye shadows.

I used this video and tried to do something similar, but of course it can never be reproduced perfectly and I did not have a few shades that the girl from the movie used.

I show you my characterysation, as a model my friend served me.

I am happy with the result, but I do not like that all the shadows that I used were brocade and it hindered my work.

Joe Binks -Film Producer

Hi 

Today I will introduce to you one of  the film Producer Joe Binks. 

Joe Binks is a passionate producer who makes short films. He use strong visuals both in live action, animation or a combination of the two. He also produced award-winning short films such as, "The Dog & The Elephant" and  "God’s Kingdom".

GOD'S KINGDOM

This film is about two people, Jack and Ella. They are travel alone and they keep away from people, towns and cities, off the grid.

THE DOG & THE ELEPHANT

And this film is about kinship between young boxer Bendigo Barlow and ‘Ina’, an elephant from a travelling menagerie.  The action takes place  in the violent world and the life leads him on a brutal journey of destruction, and  ultimately revenge.

His website is very eye catching and interesting but his films are available only his website  and  there is very little information about him. 

Despite this his films are great and worth watching.

Script

Hello 

Finally I would like to show you my Script after the changes.


This is my script.

It was a long process and I used to website which contains professional tools.

Celtx - this is a professional script creation site.

I used tabs, such as scene heading, action, character, dialogue, and parenthetical.

It is very useful when you want write a good script and it is easy to use but it have also disadvantages, for example, I had problems with sharing this to my actors.

Project Sign off and Film model release

Hi 

I would like to show you my Project Sign off  so that you can see how I will work on my project.

Film Colours!

Hello 

Today I decided that I show you what I started doing to my film.

I was thinking about how different I can show emotion in the movie and I found - Colours! 

A lot depends on the colours, for example outfit. If you dress the actors in the right colours you can get the perfect show of emotions in given situation.

For example, " Spike Jonze’s Her is a perfect example of how a film’s entire meaning can be told nonverbally through shot composition and set decoration. " 

The movie's hero,  Theodore, wears bright colours, such as bright- red,  yellow, blue and white to show his emotional state.

This is my colours plan to my film. 

Here I wrote what colours will I use when preparing costumes. I tried to find the meaning of colours in movies in various sources. I chose a few colours that in my opinion will match the specific character and feelings.

Drafts of Scripts

Hi

The last classes from Specialist Session of Media Project I we analysis our scripts and we found more inspiration.

I have to make some changes to my script but I show you first script.

I have to add some things about my characters and several movie scenes.

"YOU" from Netflix is a great example for my inspiration.

This series is about obsessive young man ( Joe Goldberg) who think that he love the girl (Guinevere Beck). He shows a lot of emotions, such as aggression, obsessive, jealously. 

This is a thriller as well as drama. He does not let her normal live and he follow her every move. Initially she is not awareness this. 

People think that this series is funny and trashy, for example, "Addictive yes, but it definitely comes from the type of trashy thriller you would consume in one day by a pool somewhere." and " The modern version of a Hitchcock character is enough to pull us slowly into a tornado of lies and deceipt." 

However, some people think about it different, for instance, " So enticing! The suspense is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. It is filled with "Noooooo way's", "Whhaaaattt's". Its a soap opera on steroids. The tripping episode had me literally crying laughing." and "A solid story and solid performances." 

I have not seen the whole series yest but I will watch the whole. Now I am concentrating on the most important shot from this series.

This series is very useful to my film, because I can seen professional shots and I find out how I can do tension and what I should pay attention to when making my video.

Project Ideas & Plan

Hi 

During the last classes from Media Project I we analysed and we complemented our Project Ideas & Plan.

Here we complemented step by step each box with a question. We answered questions about our project.
 I think it was good idea because this plan in which we describe everything step by step, it facilitates work and getting on with the Project. These questions help whereat I should focus during preparing my project.
